Ugandan Alumni have been employed in senior positions in government, including as medical researchers and as senior staff for major non-governmental organisations. Ugandan Alumni are employed across a wide range of government ministries, such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Health, and in other organisations, such as Oxfam, the Infectious Diseases Institute at Makerere University, and the Northern Uganda Malaria AIDS and Tuberculosis Program.
