Although it is difficult to estimate the number of people in need of mobility assistive devices, the World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that, among developing nations, 0.5% of the population needs assistive devices. Australia Awards Alumnus Ncedo Ludada, who received a Masters in Clinical Rehabilitation from the Flinders University in 2015, is now able to contribute to developing and educating people on mobility assistive devices.
