Australian support in mining and agriculture helping Africa to prosper

Kampala is today hosting 150 experts, officials and NGOs from across Africa at a high-level symposium on agriculture and mining supported by the Australian Government.

Agriculture and mining are critical to the growth of economies in sub-Saharan Africa. Australia is a world leader in both fields. The Australian aid program funds activities to share Australia’s experiences and help African governments harness these sectors for development.
