Australia Awards Short Courses

To be eligible to apply for an Australia Awards Short Course (AASC), you must be a mid to senior level professional working for a relevant government ministry or associated agency in an eligible African country. Private sector or civil society applicants are unfortunately not eligible to apply for an AASC.

The courses available to eligible applicants include:

• Countering Terrorism and Violent Extremism
• Financing Climate Action
• Enhancing Continental Trade Facilitation in Africa

Relevant ministries in eligible countries will be aware of the Australia Awards Short Courses. If your role aligns with the short course, please reach out to the HR department at your ministry for further information on how to apply virtually for the course.  Your interest must be channelled through and endorsed by your organisation.
